The answer is YES! I love this bassinet. Easy Assembly First of all, it was easy to set up; it even comes with a mini screwdriver! The instruction manual was detailed and clear, so I was able to assemble the bassinet BY MYSELF, which is not usually my forte.
There were a few moments when I needed an extra set of hands (like, to hold the base steady to pop in the rods), so my mom assisted. Little hands helped too. Overall, relatively easy to set up. I love when a manufacturer thinks of small details that make lives easier for parents, like including a storage pouch for the instruction manual.
That detail made me smile (especially because I was 9 months pregnant and in “nesting” mode). Stylish & Cute Once assembled, I immediately loved the look of the bassinet. It is super stylish & cute. My bedroom is not huge, and it fits nicely. Awesome Features Once and we started using the Bily Bassinet, I noticed (and loved) tons of useful features. The designers thought of everything! • mattress pad is water-resistant (i.e., pee-resistant) • mattress sheet is easily removable and machine washable • large storage basket underneath (I stash some diapers and onesies in there for overnight changes) • bassinet is at a comfortable height; I’ve even used it for diaper changes. I’m 5′ 8″, and the bassinet comes up to my mid-thigh. • on wheels so you can move it around easily (the wheels lock too) • pleasant music and vibration options • built-in night light Here’s a photo of sweet baby feet illuminated with the night light: One icky feature is that the canopy is loud when you adjust it. But there’s an easy workaround: don’t adjust the canopy with a sleeping infant inside.
